Izzy Mohan is a London-based pianist, singer, and musical director. She is in demand as a collaborative pianist and has recently appeared with at the Somerville Piano Festival, at the Oxford International Song Festival, and with the Orchestra of the City. Izzy is currently undertaking an MMus at the Royal Academy of Music generously supported by the Ruth Harte Scholarship. She studies piano with James Baillieu and Joseph Middleton. Izzy was awarded a second study in singing at the Royal Academy and studies with Alex Ashworth.
Izzy has worked as an accompanist at Oxford Youth Choirs and Morley College. She is the pianist-in-residence at St John the Baptist Church, Holland Road. Izzy is the Director of Music at St Mary’s Church, Harrow-on-the-Hill where she directs the choir and regularly plays the organ. Izzy graduated from the University of Oxford with a First-Class Degree in Music. During her time in Oxford, Izzy was a choral scholar at Merton College, Keble College, and the Magdalen College Consort of Voices. During this time, Izzy studied piano with Anna Tilbrook and singing with Carys Lane.
