Izzy Mohan is a British/Spanish pianist, conductor, and singer based in London. She is the Director of Music at St Mary’s, Harrow-on-the-Hill and is studying an MMus in collaborative piano at the Royal Academy of Music funded by the Ruth Harte Scholarship. Izzy is in demand as a collaborative pianist and has recently performed at the Royal Festival Hall, the Austrian Cultural Forum, and Oxford International Song Festival. She has also appeared as a soloist and chamber pianist with the Southbank Sinfonia and at the Sommerville Festival of Piano.

Izzy is the co-founder and Director of the professional choir, Alma Consort. The Alma Consort perform regular choral concerts as well as commercial studio recordings, weddings, funerals, and corporate events. The Alma Consort team also provide opportunities for young opera singers as part of the Opera Platform that they offer.

The Alma Consort have also worked in collaboration with the Choir of St Mary’s Harrow on the hill, providing opportunities for the junior choristers to sing alongside the professional ensemble.

Izzy’s musical career began as a chorister at Chester Cathedral. She subsequently attended Chetham’s School of Music in Manchester before reading Music at the University of Oxford where she held choral scholarships with Merton College Choir, Keble College Choir, and the Magdalen College Consort of Voices. Izzy sings with regularly in choirs in London, including the St Martin’s Voices.
